I love mornings that I wake up and there  is light streaming in through my window (even if it is grey skies outside like today)  I recently decided that instead of being grumpy about having to wake up that I should be excited that I have the chance to have another great day.  So far it's working out great.

Church rocks my socks! Today we talked about seeing the good in people and every part of life and also being happy.  In relief society we had a discussion about a talk that pointed out that the more we suffer, the greater our capacity to feel happiness.  Realizing this brought me a lot of comfort. Think about it.  "Trials are mandatory, Misery is optional" Looking back at some of the trials I have had I know that because of them I am stronger and can feel happier for everything I am given.

Today is such a good day!...why?
There is no particular reason. WHICH is my favorite kind of good day.

• I listened to Elvis while I made lunch with my favorite apron on
• Read my scriptures :)  (40 pages left of my BOM)
• listened to some talks
• laughed my face off with Kara and Casey
• cleaned our garage
• Talked to a cute boy on the phone

I have not done much... But I just feel happy.  I really like this life thing, I think I will keep at it.

Day 9 = A picture of the person who has gotten me through the most

This is Daniel.  My Best friend/Little brother

He is always willing to hang out with me

To listen to me talk to him whether I am happy or sad

Always is patient with me

Never gets annoyed when I am singing my heart out and dancing in the car

We have gone through the hardest trials together

Always forgives me when I am grumpy

Sets an AWESOME example for me always

Is supportive of me (He even reads this blog everyday)

Knows everything about me and still likes me:)

Not to be super typical...but! I really do treasure my scriptures! I spend quality time with them everyday.

Also on my night stand are a few other items that deserve a shout out.  My journal, a National Geographic National Parks book (slowly making my way through it. and I recommend it!) Preach my Gospel.  And my gangs wrist band. (please don't kick me out for not wearing it at this very moment)

this quote ALWAYS makes me stop and think.  Initially I always tell myself that I will do anything the lord asks and make any sacrifice I have to...  But what about the things that I have planned for my life?  I know that sometimes and someday I will have to sacrifice the "good" things in my life for the "great" things.  So I just pray that when I am older and wiser that I can have the perspective to recognize whats good and whats great.

Monday

Today was the first day of lessons for the month MEANING that there are a lot of new faces.  Usually little kids are very apprehensive, but! one little kid today kept calling me over finally when I could pay attention to him he said... "Miss Teacher.... you are beautiful" 
favorite student award to him!!!

Day6! A person that I would trade places with for a day.

I would trade with George Klein, Elvis Presely once said "George will be my friend forever".  And he was! George was friends with Elvis until the end.
