I got in the car and drove into summer

HOLY COW

So basically at this very moment I am in Dickson Tennessee.  Where is Dickson TN you might ask... (story time)

Yesterday was one of the best days of my life. And trust me I have been DYING to blog about it but first let me explain why I am in Dickson.

last night our goal was to go about half hour East of Nashville and stop for the night.  About half hour WEST of Nashville 150 ft away from exit 172 South Dickson the front right tire of Chases two wheel drive 2006 silver Honda Civic blew.

 why so specific?

My Mom got road side assistance for our cell phones.  After CLEARLY explaining what you might think simple information for 45 minutes to Joseph (who was very nice) the road side assistance coordinator we got someone to come change our spare
-but that is a story by itself

Side note: Last night I heard loud sirens warning me of a tornado...
First thought upon waking up: YES! I lived.


So here I am SO excited to tell you about my travels across the USA. but it has to wait.  It is time to hit the road again.

When I was watching this video I couldn't help but think about how Christ did NOTHING wrong ever and he was not offended or upset about the persecution and suffering he went through.

This evening when I pulled in to my Cold-a-sac after work I saw my whole family playing outside.  My nephew N8 who is 1.5 squinted his eyes to see who it was and when he saw it was me a huge grin appeared on that boys face.  When I got out of the car he toddled over and gave me a giant hug.

Tonight Chase asked me on a date:D

Sounds tricky right since he is approximatively 776 miles away from me at this instant

HOWEVER

We made a plan to skype at 8:30 Pacific standard time

I showered (because you have to smell good for a date right?)

put on a little bit of makeup (not that he can tell because my webcam is low quality)

And I got on skype!!!

Just saying but Chase Moffat looks SO cute, even on skype. :D oh and he is MY boyfriend? how lucky am I?

we started talking away and I was really enjoying his dove like voice when the door bell ran

It was a whole lot of Chinese foood!! (Orange chicken is my favorite food:) )

I came back to my computer with my Chinese and sat down and Chase Moffat pulled out his own Chinese so that we could have dinner together:):):)

We turned over a new leaf

Once upon a time I had a very good friend who had the same exact name as me!!! (Liz, in case you forgot)

She also has a younger brother named Jon (I also have a younger brother named John)

Jon was born 364 days after Liz (My brother John was born 364 days after me!)

It was love at first sight.  unfortunately time and distance tore us apart.  and like so often happens to friends our contact slowly decreased.

It got to the point where we both were home in Medford and DID NOT even see each other.

can you say unacceptable?

So Liz and I got in contact and I decided we needed to turn over a new leaf in our friendship.  after all even through the time and distance we still love each other.

So i promptly went outside and plucked a leaf off of our magnolia bush.  put it in an envelope. and mailed it to her

She has turned over the leaf

Consider our friendship fresh.

 this is me about to kick procrastination in the shins

Tonight Mama P asked if Kara and I would clean the kitchen.

So we set to work cleaning and scrubbing.  After a bit she came in and started helping.   And after a few minutes she left to go get Daniel...

From down the hall we hear uncontrollable giggling coming from DANIEL it kept getting closer and closer and finally we saw him being forced towards the kitchen with my mom a few feet beind squirting him with a squirt gun!

Even after he was in the kitchen Mama P. just couldn't seem to stop and when she finally did I picked up a squirt gun from beside the sink and started squirting him...I was just following the example set by my parent...

....Daniel got out of a kitchen job tonight.

I made a DELISH smoothie tonight.  I was enjoying it so much and I had a big tall glass and I thought. I NEEDA SPREAD THE LOVE ASAP!  so!!! I poured some into a glass and shared with Jake.   Who said.

Windows

I love windows.

There have been times in my life that I have talked probably to much about how much I am fond of windows.  How could you not be fond of them!!? You can see the beautiful world that God so kindly has allowed us to live on. (I love it)  Often when I begin to speak of how when I have my own house I would prefer to have gigantic windows and lots of them I am met with warnings about the effort that you have to put into cleaning them.

WELP!

Today I had the chance to clean giant windows.

I LIKE IT.

The whole time I pretended that I was the karate kid learning how to do super sweet karate moves.
It also feels great to see a perfectly clean window.

Dinner

Soon I will be moving across the country to good ol NC! I know I am going to have SO MUCH fun.  But I can't help be a little bit sad.  My little brothers make me laugh my face off, and it's always sad to leave your best friends (my brothers).  JEEZE THE WHEEZE! they are neat!

(just saying but they have many jokes about this...You can only imagine)

Thats when all of a sudden the steak I was eating stopped tasting good and I also tuned out trying to force my mind away from embalming people with acid that eats away at them...

We then had a very nice family birthday cake in the shape of a fish.  It took a few times of lighting the candles since my Dad likes to blow them out as many times as possible to push Mama Ps buttons.

OH! and!
I don't think I realized until recently that usually people don't reuse birthday candles.  When I was little I always had used ones because my brothers birthday is the day before mine.  Who knew?

I love this home.  I love these people.  I feel happy as a clam that they are mine.

I discovered that I am in far worse shape than I was a year ago.

• I have a big fat crush on Chase Robinson Moffat. (what a hunk)
• General Conference was AMAZING
• I collected my belongings from Rexy, I have WAY to much stuff. 
• I got my first ticket.  I cried.  (287 bones!)
• I gave notice on my job (a nice way of saying quit) and started a new one
• Went to pick up my check and had a Birthday Invite from one of my 3 year old students. :D
• New job= dentist office
• I am moving to North Carolina in less than a month....
• My room is a disaster, I have not made my bed in two days! Its driving me crazay!

The drive to Rexy this weekend was a long one.  LUCKILY I had great company and the drive was beautiful
